CBN Deadline for exchange of old naira note

 The Senate yesterday asked the Central Bank of Nigeria, CBN to extend the deadline for the exchange of old naira notes from the January 31 deadline to May 31, 2023. The Senate has also urged the CBN to open an exchange window where people that don’t have bank accounts to deposit their old notes. The resolution of the Senate was a sequel to a motion by Senator Sadiq Umar, APC, Kwara North who demanded an extension to July 31, just as he was worried by the insistence of the apex bank that there would be no such extension. Recall that CBN had on October last year, said the old naira notes would seize to be legal tender as of January 31, but the Senate in December passed a resolution urging the CBN to extend the deadline to June 30.  Apple is preparing for big changes in the iPhone 15 series and even though we are still far from the September 2023 launch date, leaks and rumors have already revealed a lot about the phones. The iPhone 15 family is expected to arrive in mid to late September 2023 in four different models, just like the iPhone 14 series before it. First we have the 6.1-inch iPhone 15, the most affordable model. Then comes the larger, 6.7-inch iPhone 15 Plus with a bigger battery. Then again, the 6.1-inch iPhone 15 Pro with the Pro features and the premium price tag, and finally, we have the new large and powerful iPhone 15 Ultra. Yes, Ultra! Panic! at the Disco, the emo-pop band that began in 2004, is ending its run after seven albums and nearly two decades. Brendon Urie, the band's frontman and last remaining original member, made the announcement on Instagram Tuesday. The post said the band's upcoming European tour for the 2022 album Viva Las Vengeance will be its last. "Growing up in Vegas I could've never imagined where this life would take me," Urie wrote. "But sometimes a journey must end for a new one to begin." In the post, he also announced that his wife is pregnant with their first child.
